About CarSahi

Advice
before inventory.

Every other car website sells attention. Dealerships sell what's in stock. Reviewers sell opinions. CarSahi was built to do something nobody else does: tell you what you should buy — and equally important — what you'll miss.

The philosophy

Three rules
we never break.

01

Always show the trade-offs.

Every car involves compromise. A good advisor says so out loud. If we recommend a car, we also tell you exactly where it falls short — for you.

02

Three, not thirty.

A choice between thirty cars is overwhelming. Three cars, each with a clear rationale, is a decision you can actually make. We do the narrowing so you can do the choosing.

03

India, not the global internet.

Most car advice ignores monsoons, broken roads, fuel prices, insurance norms and service networks. Our scoring is tuned for the country you actually drive in.

The engine

Weighted scoring,
not blind filters.

Most comparison sites use hard filters — tick a box, cars disappear. That produces zero-result pages and mediocre matches. We use weighted scoring instead: every car gets a score on every dimension, and the weights reflect how much that dimension actually matters.

Budget30%

Deep overlap beats near-miss. We penalise stretches, but don't hard-filter.

Your priorities22%

Mileage, performance, comfort, features, safety — weighted by what you picked.

Road conditions12%

Ground clearance, suspension tuning, body type — matched to your reality.

Usage pattern10%

City versus highway versus mixed changes which cars shine.

Transmission10%

Real automatics rank above AMTs when you ask for auto.

Fuel type8%

Petrol, diesel, CNG, hybrid — hard-filtered only if you're strict.

Seating + body8%

Need 7 seats? Want an SUV? These are blockers only if you say so.

The dataset

Curated, not
crawled.

We cover 25 cars — the ones Indian buyers actually shortlist. Adding every obscure variant would dilute the answer. Our job is to exclude, honestly, so your decision gets easier.
